Why we need it
You work with us as an independent business. The W-9 gives us the legal name and taxpayer ID to put on the 1099 we send you each January.
Where to get it
- Download the current form from irs.gov (search “Form W-9”).
- Fill in the name exactly as it appears with the IRS, your business name (if different), your tax classification, address and your SSN or EIN.
- Sign and date it, then upload a photo or PDF.
A good W-9
- The current IRS version, signed and dated.
- The name and tax ID match your business registration.
