What it is
Every state keeps a public record of registered businesses, usually at the Secretary of State. We need to see your company is registered and active (or in good standing).
How to get it
- Search “[your state] business entity search” and open your Secretary of State's search page.
- Find your company's detail page: it should show it as active or in good standing.
- Save or print it as a PDF (or screenshot it) and upload it. A certificate of good standing works too.
If it isn't Active
File your state's annual report first; most states show the company as active again within a day or two.
