What it is
A certificate of insurance (COI, usually an ACORD 25 form) is a one-page summary your insurance agent prepares. It proves your coverage and lists Thoro Clean on your policy. You don't fill it in — your agent does, usually for free.
The coverage we need
- General liability: at least $1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate and $2,000,000 products-completed operations, on an occurrence form.
- The policy must cover the services you do with us (cleaning, pressure washing, soft washing…). If you do roof work, the certificate must say roof work is covered.
- Auto liability: at least $1,000,000 combined single limit for the vehicle you use for work.
- Workers' compensation, or a valid exemption — see Workers' comp.
What your agent must add (the part partners usually miss)
- Certificate holder: Thoro Clean (we'll send you the exact name and address to use — just ask in Chat with us).
- Additional insured — ongoing AND completed operations — naming Thoro Clean.
- Primary and non-contributory wording.
- Waiver of subrogation in favor of Thoro Clean.
- Expiry dates for every policy shown.

After you upload
We check the certificate and call your agent to confirm it — that's standard. If anything is missing we'll tell you exactly what to ask them for. We remind you before it expires.
